Measure

Calculating GHG emissions requires understanding potential emissions sources throughout your operations & value chain. The first and one of the most important steps in sustainability practices is determining your materials sources of emissions and then calculating carbon footprint.

In Ecosphere we conduct a detailed analysis to determine all your material sources of emissions, we create a plan to help you get the data and then calculate your GreenHouse Gas (GHG) emissions footprint considering all three sources:

Scope 1, Direct Emissions

  • Emissions from combustible fuels and other sources that occur directly on site (i.e. natural gas, fugitive emissions from refrigerants/HVAC) and mobile emissions sources

  • Scope 2, Indirect Emissions

    • Emissions that occur off-site to produce electricity or steam purchased for use at a company’s locations

  • Scope 3, Other Indirect Emissions

    • Emissions from activities upstream or downstream from a company’s core business such as, waste disposal, commuting, financed emissions, and business travel

Data Management

Enhance data control and management processes with a focus on sustainability and ESG performance. We help identify opportunities to improve how emission-related data is collected, tracked, and managed—empowering informed decisions and delivering measurable ESG results across your company, organization, or community.
